Belair Great House

Set back in time to the days when manor homes overlooked expansive fields of sugar cane and daylight hours were spent sipping cool drinks in the shade of a breezy veranda. Those days may be gone, but the era lives on with this impeccably restored plantation house. It is a stately West Indian-style manse that looks out not at sugar cane but at Barbados' stunning southeast coast. The house invites you to relax on its grand verandas and admire its glorious island vistas and dramatic ocean views.
Belair is on two floors. Both are surrounded by verandas that enclose three sides of the house. The lower floor consists of a formal dining room, large kitchen, one bedroom, and one bathroom. The dining room is a definite reminder of those regal days with a wonderful antique mahogany dining table with twelve chairs. The very well equipped kitchen opens out onto the ocean front veranda, which is only a short distance from the sparkling freshwater swimming pool. The bedroom on this floor has two single beds, and there is a bathroom on this level which is equipped with a shower.
