Laura's first love was medicine but after a 6 month tour of Central America in 1997, the wanderlust had set in and a career change was made. Being web based has allowed Laura to have somewhat of a mobile career, starting in Scottsdale, Arizona, then Miami, Florida, and now Atlanta, Georgia, all cities she treasures. Laura's hobbies include travel writing, Latin Dancing, gardening, and cooking. Her specialities are Destination Weddings, private villa vacations, and 5 star luxury. Allison Patton started in the corporate travel world while working in the fashion and financial marketing sectors. A city girl at heart, Allison grew up in Alabama, but her made her way to New York City before settling in Atlanta. Allison brought her corporate travel experience of booking luxury jet & sailing charters to Caribbean Journey. Then she discovered the beauty of the all inclusive resort concept and now also specializes in resorts such as Sandals & Beaches offering honeymoons, babymoons, and more. Christy Mackley and her husband have owned and operated an Atlanta area Dive School for many years. Christy began her travel agent career by planning dive trips for their clients. Enjoying the travel industry, she has since expanded her training and education in order to assist all travelers. Christy has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. Christy’s family is very active in scouting (Boy and Girl) having been a Den Leader, Troop Leader, & Assistant Scout Master. Christy truly enjoys working with children, camping, hiking, scuba diving – almost anything you can do outdoors! Linda Combs’s travel expertise stems from over 30 years of international and domestic accommodations at the corporate level. Linda's speciality is large group travel & escorted tours. Linda is highly skilled at coordinating large leisure travel groups and has taken groups of 50 to 100 people on escorted vacations to Mexico and the Caribbean. Linda’s passion for relationships and travel has solidified her success as a travel agent.

August Godwin started out as a travel agent the week before September 11th. This was a dynamic time to be involved in travel, and the company she worked for was based in the metropolitan New York area at the time. An original Atlanta, Georgia native, she made her way back to Atlanta, and has been in the industry for 10 years including the years she worked for well-known companies such as United Airlines, American Express, and Sandals and Beaches Resorts. She specializes in planning Destination Weddings, Honeymoons, and Romantic Getaways.

Heather Dzubinski earned her travel agent certification at the Cobb Marietta School of Travel and started in the industry at the end of 1999 where she worked in the corporate travel department at World Championship Wrestling. She later worked with larger leisure travel companies and has owned her own agency as well. Heather has booked countless tropical vacations and cruises over the years. She specializes in destination weddings, vow renewals, and honeymoons. She has planned numerous romantic events (including her own vow renewal in Maui, Hawaii) all over the Caribbean Islands, Mexico and as far away as Florence, Italy. She has firsthand experience traveling all over the Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii to some of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. She holds several travel specialist certifications and absolutely loves traveling! Along with her passion for travel, Heather is a wife and mom to two cats and two dogs and is also owner to three online gift boutiques.

Sonia Sharma was born in India, raised in Kuwait, married in London and finally settled in the US with her husband and 3 children. Sonia’s father was in the airline industry, which allowed her to travel frequently. By the time she was 4, she had already visited four continents. Not only has Sonia vacationed dozens of times in the Caribbean & Mexico, but she has also traveled extensively visiting many amazing places, including; India, Thailand, Kuwait, Dubai, London, Canada, Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, Rome, Paris, Germany, Milan, Venice, and Switzerland. Aside from travel, Sonia’s hobbies include writing and painting. Sonia brings to The Journey Group over 7 years of experience selling travel. You have two options for booking your vacation with Caribbean Journey. You may work directly with one of our agents who will provide you with a customized quote. Or you may access our online reservation system that will walk you through the booking, payment, and confirmation of your trip. In order to stay at the forefront of the online travel industry, our services are free as we are paid compensation directly from the travel providers/suppliers we book.
We have established personal relationships with the managers and staff at each of the properties featured on CaribbeanJourney.com. These relationships ensure that our clients will receive priority consideration for any special requests.

We refuse to provide potential clients with hours of our expert advice only to have them send our final quote to multiple travel agents for comparison.
